F.A.Q.

Q: Can you shoot in (Insert random location here)?
A: I currently like to shoot in between the Tooele, Ogden and Provo areas in Utah. Anything too much further from this is usually a no from me, unless it's a particularly unique location.

Q: Can I have the RAW files?
A: Nope. RAW files are for me to exclusively use. If you have any editing requests, please let me know!

Q: Can I bring a friend with me?
A: Of course! Just let me know ahead of time. I'm fine with a friend or two accompanying you.

Q: What format are your photos delivered in?
A: I export and deliver all of my photos in JPG format.

Q: When can I be scheduled for a shoot?
A: I like to know at least a couple of weeks in advance for setting up shoots. Discuss with me what you'd like to do ahead of time and we can set something up!

Q: Can I use your photos on social media?
A: Yes! I love it when my clients like my work enough to share it with others! Just make sure you credit me and my page!

Q: Can I make prints of photos from our shoot and sell them for myself? (i.e. online store / event / etc.)
A: Not at this time.

Q: How long will my images take to be finished?
A: Contact sheets are typically delivered 1 week after photoshoot date. Photographs are typically delivered (but not limited to) 2-4 weeks after photo selections are made by the client.

Contact Sheets

Q: I don't like the photos you took at all, what happens now?
A: While I try my best to give you the best quality images that i can, along with a super fun experience, things can happen. While I'm not responsible for anything strictly based on personal opinion, contact me and I'll try my best to fix what problems that might have happened. During our session, I'll typically show you what i'm seeing multiple times throughout the shoot to make sure you're satisfied with everything during the shoot.

Q: What is a contact sheet?
A: In a nutshell, it's a PDF document that contains thumbnail sized PREVIEWS of most of the images we took, with the omission of obvious mis-shots.

Q: Why a contact sheet?
A: This makes the previewing step a lot easier. Contact sheets are easier to share than sharing "X" amount of individual photos.

Q: Where do I receive my contact sheet and final photos?
A: I send everything through Google Drive via an emailed invite.

Q: I can't find my invite! --OR-- My invite doesn't work!
A: Make sure to check your spam folder and check your entire inbox. If your invite isn't working, send me a message. (sometimes Google Drive just sucks...)

Q: Why are the previews so blurry on my contact sheet?
A: While I try to keep the resolution a bit high so that it's easy to review the contact sheet, I do intentionally "bork" the quality a tad bit, along with putting watermarks on the images. This is to keep the overall file size down, as well as to prevent people from taking usable screenshots of unfinished images.
